Daniel Bengtson, PGA
Head Golf Professional Daniel is a native of Montgomery County, Maryland and was raised in nearby Damascus. He is a proud graduate of Coastal Carolina University’s Professional Golf Management Program. He began his golf professional career at the Burning Tree Club where he served as the First Assistant Golf Professional. In December of 2017, he accepted the Head Golf Professional position at Cattail Creek Country Club where he had the opportunity to develop and lead an active energetic family golf operation. He began serving as the 4th Head Golf Professional in Bethesda Country Club's history in 2022. His expertise includes managing an energetic family club atmosphere that is welcoming to all our members and guests. His strong beliefs of leading by example and mentoring the golf staff to provide an unparalleled member experience for everyone. He takes immense pride in having his last two Lead Assistant Golf Professionals become Head Professionals of their own. He also serves on MAPGA Junior Golf Committee and was selected to be a member of the TaylorMade National Advisory Staff since 2020. On a personal note, he has been married to his wife Lindsey since 2016 and they have an incredible daughter named Bonnie Marie. His interests outside of golf include the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Commanders, and American Civil War history. |
